SoundOUT provides a range of youth music programmes within schools and community settings in the north side of Cork City. In partnership with Music Generation Cork City performance music education programmes are facilitated with Sundays Well Boys School, Terence MacSwiney Secondary School and School of the Divine Child. SoundOUT also runs Junior SoundOUT as an after school inclusive band programme for primary school children.
SoundOUT provide music tuition and develops bands with 1st-6th year students from Terence McSwiney Secondary School. There are approximately 40 students participating in this programme. Students have gigged in a wide range of venues and have performed their original music on RTE Elev8. Two students from the SoundOUT recently got to perform, as part of a national vocal group, alongside U2’s the Edge, as part of a special performance in the Sistine Chapel in Rome.
School of the Divine Child
SoundOUT facilitate accessible music tuition and develops bands with students from School of the Divine Child. There are currently approximately 20 students from School of the Divine Child participating in the SoundOUT programme. A range of assistive music technology is used in these music sessions in order to ensure meaningful access to music making and performance for all abilities.

Sundays Well Boys School
SoundOUT provides instrumental tuition and develops bands with students from 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class from Sundays Well Boys School in Cork City. There are currently approximately 40 students attending the SoundOUT programme from Sundays Well Boys. This programme is provided in partnership with Music Generation Cork City. These students have performance across the city including the Cork Opera House, as part of the Music Generation Concert Party.
