Mish Mash is an inclusive music technology performance group. They use a range of digital musical instruments to create and perform music. Mish Mash have performance as part of a variety of event including for Culture Club, a local accessible Night Club in Cork City.
Circles is a collaborative project that brings together young adults from the Togher Music Project and SoundOUT students. Cillian McSweeney is the current musician in residence at the Togher Music Project. Cillian uses a range of eyegaze and switch technology to write lyrics, compose music and perform with the Circles band. Circles have performed in a range of venues including Cork City Hall, Fitzgerald’s Park, Cork Opera House and UCC’s Aula Maxima. Since 2013 Circles receives funding from Music Generation Cork City to facilitate weekly band workshops.
Lámh le Chéile – Singing and Signing Choir.
As part of the European year for Social Inclusion (2009), Lámh le Chéile was established as an inclusive singing and signing choir, by Gráinne McHale in collaboration with Cork Music Works. Lámh le Chéile have performed in a variety of venues in Ireland including a special performance with Cork Music Works at Áras an Úachtaráin. Lámh le Chéile meet every Wednesday evening from 6-7pm in Linkpoint Youth Centre, Hollyhill. Suitable for teenagers and adults. All abilities welcome.
